FESPA is a global federation of 37 national associations for the screen printing, digital printing and textile printing community. Their General Assembly 2018 was held in Sofia, organised entirely by Insight Events.
The event had featured multiple components. The guests were accommodated in the newly opened Intercontinental Hotel in Sofia, where also their meetings were held. Dinners took place at some of the city’s best restaurants – Cosmos and the Clock House Restaurant. One of the most memorable experiences for the guests was the trip to the historic town of Koprivshtitsa. They traveled on the unique steam engine train, combined with the Corona Express wagon of 1938 (the train of Tsar Boris III) and the wagon restaurant of Vitosha Express (the train of Bulgaria’s Communist leader Todor Zhivkov). The guests enjoyed delicious catering and the beautiful sights during their trip to Koprivshtitsa. There they visited some of the most important places in Bulgaria’s history and tasted our traditional food at the barbecue lunch at the oldest school in the country.
This 5-day event also included a partners trip to Plovdiv and an exquisite reception and dinner at the exclusive Residents Club in Sofia.
